Store Refurbishment

Over the Summer period, we will be carrying out major refurbishment in parts of the store. All departments and Coffee Lounge will continue to trade as normal.

Our extensive £500,000 refurbishment plan includes a complete revamp of our roof top Terrace. A new Balustrade, Porcelain tiling and planting will be installed to create a unique outdoor space for our Store’s Coffee Lounge for Customers to enjoy, offering views over Nottingham.

Once complete, the renovation of our first floor will take place. The existing flooring and carpet department will be stripped out for new displays of carpets and wood, laminate and vinyl flooring as well a new interior design studio including a fabric and wallpaper gallery. Our Customer Toilets and Coffee Lounge will be refurbished during this time.

As we celebrate 140 years in the furniture trade, the current renovation work will bring back Hopewells to represent one of the finest and largest independent stores offering a unique selection of furnishings.
